Dzaki Safaruan received his Bachelor’s (Hons) in Fine Art from Nanyang Academy of Fine Arts (NAFA) in partnership with Loughborough University, UK. His art is a constant exploration of the deconstruction of the mundane which involves a mix of spirituality, popular culture and wordplay.
"Hands Up 4 is a continuation of a series of works first presented in 2021, an exploration of the juxtaposition and interpretation of different hand gestures. The two upward-facing palms represent supplication and is a reminder of everything larger than the individual."
