FAQ Venue Rental


1. Why book Maya Gallery for my event?

Maya Gallery offers its space for hire for art exhibitions; meetings; brand or product launches; short film screenings; workshops; filming for productions; wine tasting (Halal or non-alcoholic only) and various events.

However, events with content that is deemed controversial, provocative or offensive in nature are prohibited. For exhibitions, artworks and/or publicity materials should not be suggestive and/or sexual in nature, contain expletives, of contentious racial or religious issues/references, prompting violent, anti-government, anti-religious sentiments, or portrayal of political or sexual orientation references, alternative sexualities, fetishes or addictions.


2. Can I view the venue before booking?

You may contact us to make an appointment to visit the gallery for an on-site recce. We are open from Tuesday through Friday from 12pm to 6pm.


3. How much does it cost to rent the gallery space?

Send us an email with your requirements so that we can get in touch with you. Total cost will include rental fees, security deposit and any additional charges (should you require installation, technical services and manpower) as well as peak surcharges for usage beyond the stipulated hours, as well as on Sunday and Public Holiday.


4. I need a space urgently for my event. How do I proceed?

Please email to us early (preferably 2 to 6 months in advance) as our calendar may be filled up. We regret that we are unable to accept last minute bookings.


5. How can I make a venue booking?

i. Email us with your request, at least 2 months before the event.
ii. We will reply within 3–5 days, with Rental and Installation Guide, and Booking Form.
iii. You may make an appointment with us for a site recce.
iv. Please submit the Booking Form for our review.
v. Upon confirmation of the booking, please make payment at least 30 days before the event.
vi. All rules and guidelines must be adhered to, otherwise a penalty will be enforced.

6. What payments do you accept?

You can make payment by PayPal, PayNow, internet banking or via ATM. We will provide our account details and QR Code upon request.


7. Will Maya Gallery help to promote my event?

If you have an existing social media accounts or online event page, we can help to share or publish the event on our Facebook and Instagram platforms.


8. Is there WIFI at the venue?

Yes, WIFI is complimentary and available at our venue for light internet browsing only. Please approach our staff for the password.


9. Is overnight setup allowed?

No, we do not allow overnight setup. There will be additional charges for setup before 12pm, and after 6pm, ending at 10pm.


10. Do you provide food catering services?

We do not provide food catering services, but we can make recommendations. Please note that only Halal F&B certified food are permitted at our gallery.


11. Can alcoholic drinks and liquor be served or sold at the event?

Alcoholic drinks and liquor are NOT allowed at our venue.

12. Is parking available at Maya Gallery?

As parking is limited at our building area (only 2 complimentary visitor lots upon availability), you are advised to park at the surrounding buildings carparks, or along the roads nearby, where parking fees apply. More parking lots will be available on weekends (Sat & Sun) and Public Holidays.
