Twenty years ago, when her children’s laughter echoed through empty rooms, Fadilah Mohamed Ali, also known as Faith Fadilah, picked up the painting brushes again. She surrendered to the canvas, an arduous yet enchanting affair. Self-taught, she dabbled with different styles and mediums. Secondary school art classes were her compass, and the Nanyang Academy of Fine Arts (NAFA)’s certificate courses her north star. Faith has exhibited in many galleries as a group and looks forward to many more in 2024.
