The gallery will present an exciting body of high-quality works by Singaporean and international artists, from paintings to ceramics, and in various media such as Chinese ink, charcoal, watercolour and oil. The content of the oeuvre ranges from figurative, landscape, still life to abstract themes, to suit varying tastes of sophisticated art buyers. Maya Gallery is recognised for its selective collection of art by established to emergent artists from SIngapore, Southeast Asia and the rest of the world. The audience will also be surprised with the addition of a new form of collectibles - the pinhole camera –made by Singaporean photographer Karto, or Khamis Arifin. His latest collection promises to amuse, without compromising its function and quality.

Sunar Sugiyou (b. 1961, Singapore) is a third-generation Singaporean artist with a profound mastery of Chinese brush painting. His latest works in Chiese Ink captures what binds us as a nation and family.

Jeffrey Wandly (b. 1964, Singapore), known as “the building whisperer”, paints landmarks with history in his own eyes.  The purity of his depiction mostly stem from his special conversations with buildings.

Karto (b. 1946, Singapore) or Khamis Ariffin is known for his handmade pinhole cameras, a craft only a rare few can boast to possess. His collection has been shown in Singapore, Denmark and Germany, and remains sought after by collectors.

Suriani Suratman (b. Singapore) shows her latest ceramics creations which explore issues of identity and belongng, as well as finding beauty in ordinary household objects, as inspired by the Italian painter Georgio Morandi.

Valerie Ng (b.1974, Malaysia) is a winner of the United Overseas Bank (UOB) Painting of the Year (Abstract category). Trained at the Alternative Foundation in Fine Art at The Slade Summer School, The Slade School of Fine Art and University College of London, she has an eye for the miniscule details that nature presents in its utmost glory, and seeks inspiration in the natural and organic.

Suklu (b. 1967, Indonesia) or I Wayan Sujana‘s style over the years has been described as figurative, abstract, symbolic realism, and often meditative in nature. His works touch on personal change, environment, politics, society and global issues. He is also a lecturer at the Indonesian Art Institute (ISI), Denpasar, Bali.

Putu Bonuz (b. 1972, Indonesia) or I Putu Sudiana Bonuz is a graduate of the Indonesian Art Institute (ISI) in Denpasar, Bali. He explores in his works the use of colours, representing the human chakras – such as black, red, white, yellow, blue. This spiritual element is usually reflected in his abstract works.

Deusa Blumke (b. Brazil) has a BA (Hons) in Fine Arts at LASALLE College of the Arts, Singapore, and has exhibited in Singapore, Indonesia and Australia. Using plexiglas as her canvas, her exposure to various artists, cultures and experiences is expressed in the spontaneity and robust colors of her works.

Naz Kaya (b. 1974, Turkey) is an abstract expressionist artist trained in interior architecture and environmental design, including a Ph.D. in Environmental Design from the US. Based in Houston, she uses striking colours, texture and geometry in her work to capture her personal thoughts and reponses to her surroundings.
