An Exhibition of Small Works

Maya Gallery is delighted to present Small Matter 2024, an exhibition series showcasing a broad collection of small works by artists from Singapore and overseas. 

As you walk through the gallery space, discover the beauty and creativity of these miniature masterpieces. From intricate paintings and creative photography to delicate sculptures, this project, initiated and curated by Masturah Sha'ari, co-founder of the gallery, aims to showcase how the tiniest of artworks can come together to create something truly exceptional. Each piece may be small, but magnificent in its own way; each work represents an exclusive perspective and artistic vision. This can be a wonderful opportunity to support artists dedicated to their craft, find that special piece for your home, office or add to your collection, and experience the magic of small art!

From a nationwide Open Call from July 2024, we have received an overwhelming number of entries. The selection panel was fascinated with the creativity, quality and originality of the submissions. The exhibition will also mark the gallery's last show before we take a year end break and return with vigour in 2025!
