Maya Gallery is honoured to be a Venue Sponsor for the public exhibition of CHAIRITY Arts and Design Against Cancer 2015.
Showcasing masterpieces depicting the experience and interpretation of cancer, the Launch Evening will be on the 30th April, at Red Dot Museum, where 50 chairs by established and young artists will be auctioned for the Children\'s Cancer Foundation. This fund-raising initiative was initated by Mr Imis Iskandar, who lost his father to cancer. Some interesting facts about this project: 50 Chairs, 32 Artists, 56 Children / Students, 12 Facilitators, 15 sponsors, 3 Exhibition venues. The minimum bid for a chair starts from $3,500, with the children\'s chair at $800.
