SINGAPORE - Maya Gallery is pleased to present PULSE, an art exhibition featuring 10 emerging young artists.
Pulse - Essence & Belongings Etched in our hearts is organized with the objective of providing emerging young artists a blueprint to create and exhibit their works, giving a push-start to their careers. Pulse is organized to inspire more Singaporeans, who are interested in becoming an artist in their own right, but are overshadowed and intimidated by the lack of visible response in the Singapore art world.
Pulse 2012 will exhibit artworks that provide a fresh approach to the mediums used, pushing their boundaries. Given the spectrum of talents featured in this exhibition, be immersed a range of art forms with varying mediums such as textiles, mixed media, batik painting and woodblock printing. Calling all young adults, students, educators and all art lovers to come for the exhibition and explore different forms and mediums of art in a local context!
The exhibition runs from 9 till November 2012. It is open to the public daily from 12 noon - 9pm, except public holidays. Admission is FREE, and all the artworks are for sale.
