Maya Gallery has held close to 80 exhibitions by more than 100 international artists since 2012. We also present gallery collaborations and offer opportunities for talented artists to showcase their artworks. If accepted, you will receive an official representation offer which includes a number of promotional options you can select from.



1. SALES OF ARTWORKS

The commission structure on the sale of art is 60% for the artist and 40% for the gallery. Sales occur at our exhibitions, through ongoing marketing, and our Online Shop at www.mayagallery.com.sg/main/shopWhile we promise that we will do our best, we cannot and will not guarantee that your artwork will sell.
 


2. GALLERY REPRESENTATION

Our exhibition options include targeted public relations, email and print invitations to your exhibition, online and social media exposure, exhibition catalogue design and printing, assistance with pricing, aid with writing artist documentation, opening reception for the exhibition and more.

Costs
We offer several representation options, starting from $4,000, which can also be paid in instalments. Please refer to the table below.
Artists are responsible for all shipping and framing expenses related to the exhibition.
While we maintain a Fine Art insurance policy covering artwork on our premises, you are solely responsible for insuring your art while in transit to and from the gallery.
The first payment shall me made with the signed Representation Agreement.

3. PORTFOLIO SUBMISSION

You can submit the following to art@mayagallery.com.sg with Subject Header ARTWORK SUBMISSION [Your Name].

Artwork Images – at least 6 jpeg images in high resolution (300 dpi) with title, medium, dimensions, year
Artworks List – table of artworks being submitted, with the description details (as above), with artwork statement(s)
Artist Biography and Artist Statement – tell us about yourself and your background
Artist CV – complete resume of your educational background, work experiences, participation in exhibitions and projects, awards received (if any) etc.
Artist Profile Photo – jpeg file in high resolution (300 dpi)

Submission Fee (non-refundable)
An administrative fee of $70 is required with your submission. 
If your work is accepted and you sign our representation agreement, this submission fee will be deducted from the representation fee. 
If you are accepted and, for whatever reason, do not sign the agreement, or if your portfolio submission is not accepted, the submission fee will not be refunded. 
We accept payment via Paypal, PayNow and online bank transfers
You can submit a portfolio of new artworks within a year after your original submission at no additional cost (no administrative submission fee required).

Artwork Review
Review of your artwork submission will take up to 4 weeks 
The following media are accepted: painting, drawing, sculpture, photography, digital art, prints, video art, and mixed media



4. EXHIBITION

The number of artworks to be showcased for your exhibition depends on the representation option that you have selected. 
The exhibition duration will be a minimum of 3 weeks up to 6 weeks. Exhibitions will take place during the representation term. 
Time shall be allowed for promotion, mailings and advertising. 
We will provide you with the important dates relating to your exhibition: delivery, opening reception, closing and post-exhibition pickup etc.
