The third edition of Reflection returns this year!
Maya Gallery is excited to announce our first exhibition for 2025, Reflection 3, on view from 22nd February until 12 April 2025.
As the world approaches the month of Ramadan, a period of fasting and self-reflection, Reflection 3 invites us to pause, look inward, and reconnect—with faith, memory, and the relationships that shape our existence. This third iteration of the Reflection series, launched in 2021, continues its mission of exploring personal and collective journeys, offering a space for introspection and renewal.
The concept of three is serendipitous yet symbolic. Three artist-couples: Fazelah Abas and Dino Hafian; Dr. Suriani Suratman and Heiko Schulze; and Masturah Sha’ari and Jeffrey Wandly, each pair a reflection of the other—sometimes in contrast, sometimes in harmony—mirror the relationships we have with ourselves and the spaces we inhabit.
More than an exhibition, Reflection 3 taps into the emotional and cultural significance of this period while offering universal themes of self-reflection and human connection.
